Amazing...absolutely amazing...words cannot describe last night...

June 12th @ 8:02pm:
The Killers were amazing at Central Park (June 4th). Zaneta and I waited for over 10 HOURS on line in the sweltering heat...We were right front row and center!!! Louis XIV opened up for them and they rocked...they are now my latest obsession...I was def. the girl in the front with the tight pants they really wanted to shake up...heh
Anywhoo, here are some highlights:

Here are some of my many paparazzi shots (hehe):

Concert Pics:

*Sigh* It was wonderful, after the concert Z and I went to a Baruch Graduation party held in a club...July 13th we're off to see The Bravery at Webster Hall...I'm gonna bring tomatos >=).
P.S. Just kidding, The Bravery's album is pretty good... *mutters something about prefering The Killers tho* heh
Friday, June 3rd, 2005 -- 7:54pm:
Tomorrow I'm going to see The Killers and Louis XIV at Central Park's Summerstage!!! I'm soo excited! There is no way I'm going to be able to sleep tonight! After that I'm going to a party with Zaneta...I'm going to dance my butt off...I'm so excited, hopefully I can get my Hot Fuss CD booklet signed by all of them.

It's official, I am now a college graduate with a BA in Communications & Media Studies and a Minor in Sociology...

. I had my very first job interview (for a real full-time job...not the work study shit I did in school). It was for the Advertising Dept. for Universal Studios...the perks of living in NYC, all the big companies have offices here ^_^. I think it went well, but it was just a preliminary interview, if they call me today (btwn 4pm-5pm) then I get to go for the second round of interviews in which I would spend the whole day with them and see what it's like to work for them, what would be expected of me and what duties I would be performing...sweeet!!! Like I said, I think the interview went well, it was only about 35 min. long and he seemed happy...but could it have been cuz I left...heh. I liked what the offices looked like, lots of white walls, glass doors and a shiny wooden floor. The people seemed friendly as well...but eh, we'll see, lo que sera, sera.I graduate in about 4 weeks...college will be over and I will be heaved into the real world, forced to find real employment, see if the friendships I made in Fordham were real and hopefully find a real man =T. Will I miss Fordham? Sure, I had a good run here...but like senior year of high school (when I realized that my high school was certainly not all that I thought it was). I learned some disappointing things about Fordham...Fordham is not all warm and gooey and sweet. I've made maybe about 2 or 3 friends here that I can actually vision them keeping in touch with me...I've been confronted by racist people my senior year, people that refer to hispanics as "those people" and seem to not appreciate us holding events (by us I mean SOL - Student Organization of Latinos, a student club of which I am president of) and by all means enjoy trying to hold us down...
Once again I have also been confronted by examples of how life is one big freaking popularity contest and how politics can either make you or break you...but enough about sad and unchangable things...so yeah ~ THE KILLERS are coming to Central Park Summerstage on June 4th!!! Their only NYC date since October (which I didn't go to cuz I wasn't obessed back then, but I did get to see them live on TRL on Jan. 18th...gosh, sooo sexy...). The presale sold out on Ticketmaster (or Concertmap...whatever freaking company runs their ticket sales), but my best friend Zaneta scored tix on Ebay...the show is at 5:30pm, but we intend on camping out around 10am so we can get a good spot in the General Admission area. Oh, and I now have a digital camera...expect lots o' pics in the near future =P.
<3 Love,
Stephanie
